Some allergists believe that eating (or drinking) small amounts of local honey provides a low dose of pollen that was gathered by the bees. This can reduce symptoms of hayfever and allergies during seasons of high pollen counts.

1 quart of water |

6 tablespoons of honey |

DIRECTIONS: |

Wash lemons. Cut each lemon in half. |

Squeeze the juice from lemons into 1 quart of water. |

Add 1 or 2 lemon halves to the water for a touch of color. |
![]() |
Add 6 tablespoons of honey to the water-lemon mixture. |
![]() |
Mix well. |
