Some ALLERGISTS believe that eating (or drinking) small amounts of local honey provides a low dose of POLLEN that was gathered by the bees. This can reduce symptoms of hayfever and allergies during seasons of high pollen counts. That sounds like a wonderful reason to try Funky Fruit Salad!

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup low-fat or regular yogurt in your favorite flavor

fruit-pick your favorites (strawberries, grapes, banana, peach, apple)

coconut, granola, or chopped nuts

Grapes icon

4 tablespoons honey

DIRECTIONS:

Wash fruit and cut up into bite size pieces.

In a large bowl, combine I cup yogurt and 4 tablespoons of honey. Mix well.

Add fruit to bowl and coat with yogurt and honey mixture.

Sprinkle coconut, granola, or chopped nuts on top.
